The concept Labeling throught the eyes of lower secondary pupils

Abstract:

Tento text zprostředkovává poznatky o tématu labelingu a jeho možných projevech ve školním prostředí. Práce se zaměřuje na to, jakých neadekvátních projevů hodnocení žáka se učitel může dopustit. Pozornost je věnována vnímání labelingu očima žáků druhého stupně základních škol, ve kterém byla snaha naleznout to, jak se vidí nejen žáci samotní, ale i to, jak žáci cítí, že je vidí i jejich učitelé a spolužáci. V neposlední řadě došlo k zaměření se na to, jak tyto názory ostatních ovlivňují žákovo sebevnímání.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis provides the knowledge about the labelling theory and possible manifestations of this topic in the school environment. This text focuses on inaccurate evaluation expressions which can teacher use in the classroom. This text deals with student’s feelings about this issue. It concentrates on the fact how students think their teachers see them, what they think their classmates thinks about them and how they feel about themselves. Last but not least is focusing about how this opinion affects student’s self-perception.
