Tato bakalářská práce se v teoretické části zabývá genderovými stereotypy, vznikem a vývojem ženského hnutí a jejich mužskými protipóly, zejména misogynstvím 19. století, které reprezentovali dva němečtí filozofové Arthur Schopenhauer a Friedrich Nietzsche.
