Overdue receivables in Family Businesses

Abstract:

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl vyhodnotit proces řízení pohledávek v rodinných firmách a navrhnout řešení předcházení pohledávek po splatnosti. Cíl práce je formulován čtyřmi výzkumnými otázkami, z nichž tři z nich jsou zodpovězeny za pomoci kvantitativního výzkumu. Ten je realizován formou dotazníkového šetření. Dotazováno je 10 respondentů (malých rodinných firem s právní formou s.r.o.) na oblast řízení pohledávek, přístup k pohledávkám po splatnosti a úskalí v řízení pohledávek. Dotazníkové šetření je podpořeno analýzou věkové struktury pohledávek těchto rodinných firem, která umožní získat odpověď na čtvrtou výzkumnou otázku. Odpovědi jsou vyhodnoceny a na jejich základě je navrženo řešení.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the credit management process in family businesses and to design a solution to prevent overdue receivables. The aim of the work is formulated by four research questions, three of which are answered with the help of quantitative research. This is realized in the form of a questionnaire survey. 10 respondents (small family businesses) were asked about the area of credit management. The questionnaire survey is supported by an analysis of the age structure of the receivables of these family businesses, which will enable to answer the fourth research question. The answers are analyzed, the credit management process evaluated and a solution is designed.
