Non-pharmacological pain relief methods during labour from the midwifes perspective

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou Nefarmakologické metody tlumení bolesti při porodu z pohledu porodní asistentky. Teoretická část práce se zabývá porodem, bolestí a především jednotlivými nefarmakologickými metodami tlumení porodních bolestí. Praktická část bakalářské práce je založena na výsledcích kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření u rodiček ve věku 20-45 let. Cílem dotazníku bylo zjistit, jak dokáže rodička, či osoby vyskytující se u porodu, ovlivnit zvládání porodních bolestí, a jaké nefarmakologické metody jsou ženami nejčastěji využívány a zda je ženy považují za prospěšné.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the topic of non-pharmacological methods of pain relief during childbirth from the perspective of midwife. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the delivery, pain and mainly on particular non-pharmalogical methods of pain relifes during the delivery. The practical part of this bachelor’s thesis is based on results of a quantitative questionnaire survey of new mothers aged 20-45 years. The thesis aims to find out how new mothers or persons present at the childbirth can influence coping with the labour pains and which non-pharmacological methods new mothers use the most often and wheather they consider them to be beneficial when it comes to the coping with the labour pains.
