Use of treatment programmes for convicts in the Rapotice prison.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vězeňstvím, Vězeňskou službou České republiky jako celku a především je zaměřena na programy zacházení ve Věznici Rapotice. Cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit jak si odsouzení plní program zacházení, zda má pro ně nějaký smysl a jestli tomuto programu rozumí. Dále pak zjistit nejžádanější, nejnavštěvovanější a dle zájmu odsouzených navrhnout a poté i dle možností věznice v praxi aplikovat nové zájmové činnosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with prison service, the Prison Service of the Czech Republic as a whole and, in particular, it is focused on treatment programmes in the Rapotice Prison. The aim of the survey was to find out how the convicts fulfil the treatment programme, whether it has any sense for them and if they understand this programme. Also, to find out programmes that are most sought after and attended and, according to convicts’ interests, to propose new activities of interest and to apply them in practice according to the prison's possibilities.
