Workplace Relationships and Their Impact on Employee Motivation

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce řeší problematiku vztahů na pracovišti a jejich vliv na motivaci pracovníků. V teoretické části jsou popsány mezilidské vztahy, které jsou dále rozčleněny na formální, neformální a pracovní vztahy. V dalších kapitolách je popsáno pracovní prostředí, organizační kultura a její prvky a komunikace v organizaci. Dále je popsána pracovní motivace a její typy a je zde představena teorie pracovní motivace Abrahama Maslowa. V neposlední řadě jsou vysvětleny negativní jevy, které se mohou v pracovním prostředí vyskytnout, a to mobbing, bossing a konflikty. V praktické části této práce je představena společnost Bioptická laboratoř s.r.o. a dále jsou uvedeny a vyhodnoceny výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo mezi zaměstnanci sekretariátu Bioptické laboratoře. Na závěr jsou navrhnuta opatření, která vycházejí z problémů, které vyplývají z výsledků dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of workplace relationships and their impact on employee motivation. In the theoretical part, interpersonal relationships are described and then further divided into formal and informal relationships, as well as work relationships. The next chapters describe the work environment, organizational culture and its components, and communication in the organization. Further, work motivation and its types are described and Abraham Maslow's theory of work motivation is introduced. Finally, the negative phenomena that can occur in the work environment are explained, namely mobbing, bossing and conflicts. In the practical part of this thesis, the company Bioptická laboratoř s.r.o. is introduced and the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among the employees of the secretariat of Bioptická laboratoř are presented and evaluated. Finally, measures are proposed based on the problems that arise from the results of the questionnaire survey.
