In this bachelor's thesis we discuss the models that are used in actuarial mathematics. To begin, we define the basic terms that are used in insurance theory. Cílem této bakalářské práce je představení modelů, které se využívají v pojistné matematice. Nejprve vysvětlíme základní terminologii používající se v pojišťovnictví. Pak uvedeme diskrétní a spojité rozdělení, kterými modelujeme počet, resp. výšku pojistných nároků.
