The role of giving kindergarten teacher in professional growth beginning kindergarten teacher

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí uvádějící učitelky v profesním růstu začínající učitelky v mateřské škole. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je pojednáno o profesi učitelky v mateřské škole. Důraz je kladen zejména na proces uvádění. Přiblíženy jsou metody, které uvádějící učitelka může v rámci pomoci učitelce začínající užívat, úskalí vzájemné spolupráce, ale též význam uváděcího procesu pro profesní růst začínající učitelky. V praktické části je popsán průzkum realizovaný jako kvantitativní. Průzkumný soubor tvořilo 44 začínajících a 38 uvádějících učitelek. Metodou průzkumu byl dotazník. Cílem průzkumu bylo zjistit, jak začínající a uvádějící učitelky hodnotí proces uvádění, jaká je jejich zkušenost s procesem uvádění a v jakých oblastech by bylo možné pomoc začínajícím učitelkám ze strany uvádějících učitelek zlepšit, s ohledem na profesní rozvoj začínajících učitelek. Součástí práce je i doporučení pro pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the role of mentor teachers in the professional growth of the beginning teacher in nursery school. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the profession of a nursery teacher. Emphasis is placed on the mentoring process in particular. Mentioned are the methods that the mentor teacher can use in the help of a beginning teacher, the difficulties of mutual cooperation, but also the importance of the mentoring process for the professional growth of the beginning teacher. In the practical part is described a research realized as quantitative. The research sample consisted of 44 beginning teachers and 38 mentor teachers. The research method was a questionnaire. The aim of the research was to find out how novice and mentor teachers assess the process of mentoring, how their experience with the process of mentoring is and in what areas it would be possible to help beginning teachers to improve their career with regard to the professional development of beginning teachers. Part of the thesis is also a recommendation for pedagogical practice.
