The Influence of SN and Advanced Technologies for Social Development of Children

Abstract:

Náplní práce je zjištění, zda nadměrný pobyt dětí na sociálních sítích ovlivňuje jejich komunikaci a sociální začlenění do společnosti. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část seznamuje s psychickým vývojem dětí, jejich socializací a možnými příčinami poruch socializace, dále stručně popisuje pojmy internet, sociální sítě a s nimi související závislostní chování, online rizika a bezpečné chování na internetu. V praktické části jsou interpretovány výsledky získaných dat. Sběr dat byl uskutečněn prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo mezi žáky 8. a 9. tříd celkem čtyř základních škol v Ústeckém a Středočeském kraji. Analýzou dat byla v Ústeckém kraji zjištěna prevalence žáků s tendencí zvláště k mírné závislosti a ve Středočeském kraji tendence zvláště ke střední závislosti na internetu. Těžká závislost se vyskytovala ojediněle. Dále byla data použita k analýze vlivu internetu a sociálních sítí na život dítěte, kde bylo zjištěno, že internet a sociální sítě zasahují téměř stejným podílem do všech oblastí života dětí.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the influence of social networks and modern technology for the social development of children. The aim of this work is to determine whether excessive staying with children on social networks affects their communication and social integration into society. The work is divided into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes psychological development of children, their socialization and possible causes of failures of socialization, briefly describes the Internet, social networks and related addictive behavior, online risks and safe behavior on the Internet. The data are interpreted in practical part of the thesis. The data collection has been performed via survey, which has been conducted at 8. and 9. classes of four elementary school in Ústecký and Středočeský county. The data analysis in Ústecký county proved, prevalence of survey respondents particularly to mild addiction and in Středočeský county, the data proved prevalence particularly to moderate addiction on internet. Severe addiction occurred spradically. The data has been as well used for assessment of the internet and social media influence on child development and was found that the internet and social networks almost equally interfere into all parts in children life.
