Business environment, business and cultural peculiarities of the Balearic Islands

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na obchodní a kulturní zvláštnosti Baleárských ostrovů a v neposlední řadě také na analýzu jejich podnikatelského prostředí. K tomuto účelu je v práci využita analýza PEST, tedy analýza politicko -- právního, ekonomického, sociálně -- kulturního a technologického prostředí. Práce je složena ze tří hlavních kapitol, přičemž první uvádí problematiku obecnou charakteristikou Baleár, druhá se věnuje obchodu a kultuře a třetí kapitola je zaměřena právě na PEST analýzu oblasti. Cílem práce je představit toto podnikatelské prostředí a zhodnotit jeho potenciály, za předpokladu jejich existence.

Abstract:

This paper focuses on business and cultural peculiarities of the Balearic Islands and most importantly, on the analysis of their business environment. For this purpose is used the PEST analysis, which is the analysis of the political, economic, social and technological environment. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter contains general characteristic of the Balearic Islands, the second chapter is about business and culture and the third chapter focuses on the PEST analysis. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the business environment and to evaluate its potentials, assuming they do exist.
