UP Furniture and Work of Jindřich Halabala

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá převážně sedacím nábytkem UP závodů a tvorbou Jindřicha Halabaly. Pojednává o historii firmy a životě J. Halabaly. Část teoretická se déle zaměřuje na rozlišení originálních výrobků UP a na pravděpodobné návrhy J. Ha-labaly. Zabíhá do problematiky klamavého prodeje výrobků UP na internetu. Dále se zaměřuje na současný trend v renovaci starého nábytku a poukazuje na jeho výhody. Nastiňuje způsoby, jak lze s letitým nábytkem nakládat. Praktická část obsahuje rešerši renovací křesel a na jejím základě je provedena renovace křesla H-269. Renovace navazuje a souvisí s poznatky v teoretické části práce.

Abstract:

The thesis deals mainly with seating furniture of UP Závody and the work of Jindřich Halabala. It deals with the history of the company and the life of J. Hala-bala. The theoretical part focuses longer on the distinction of original UP products and on the probable designs of J. Halabala. It deals with the issue of deceptive sales of UP products on the Internet. It also focuses on the current trend in the renovation of old furniture and points out its benefits. It outlines ways to handle aged furniture. The practical part contains a search for the renovation of arm-chairs and on its basis the renovation of the armchair H-269 is performed. The renovation follows up and is related to the findings in the theoretical part of the thesis.
