Communication Problems of the People with Hearing Disability at the Offices

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nese název „Problematika komunikace osob se sluchovým postižením na úřadech“. V teoretické části jsem se zabývala teoretickými pojmy, jako je kategorizace sluchového postižení, anatomie sluchového analyzátoru, diagnostika sluchových vad a sluchová protetika. Druhá kapitola se věnuje komunikaci z psychologického hlediska, vývoj řeči prelingválně i postlingválně sluchově postižených a neslyšících a problémům spojených s komunikací osob se sluchovým postižením. Třetí kapitola se zabývá komunikačními systémy a tlumočnickými službami. Cílem kvantitativního explanačního výzkumu práce bylo analyzovat problematiku komunikace osob se sluchovým postižením na úřadech z jejich pohledu a také z pohledu úředníků. Součástí výzkumu bylo také zjištění, jak funguje komunikace při využití tlumočnických služeb a bez využití těchto služeb a s kým má tendenci se úředník bavit, zda jsou úředníci trpěliví při vyřizování. Zda se liší v závislosti na věku či pohlaví zkušenosti s komunikací. U výzkumu z pohledu úředníků bylo cílem vyzkoumat, zda úředníci vědí, jak správně se sluchově postiženými komunikovat, zda znají správné postavení komunikačního trojúhelníku, zda mají možnost zúčastnit se školení s problematikou komunikace osob sluchově postižených, a zda o takové školení mají sami zájem.

Abstract:

The name of my Diploma Work is “Communication Problems of the People with Hearing Disability at the Offices”. In the theoretical part of my work I deal with theoretical themes, e.g. hearing disability categorization, anathomy of hearing analysator, diagnostic of hearing disabilities and hearing protetic. Next chapter talks about the communication due to psychological point, development of the speech of the prelingual and postlingual people with hearing disability. Third chapter talks about communication systems and interpreters services. The aim of quantitative and explanation research is to show analysis of the problems of the communication of the people with hearing disabilities at the offices due to their point, but also due to officers. As the part of the research I found out how the communication works in case of interpreters services and without them and the patience of the officers, e.g. if the officer prefers dialogue with interpreter or with hearing disabled person, if there is a different in age, sex or communication experience of the officers. During the research due to officers" point I wanted to find out if they know how exactly communicate with hearing disabled people, if they know the right position of the communication triangle, if they have the possibility of training and if they themselves are interested in training which is about communication with hearing disabled people. For interpretation of the dates I used web docs.google.com.
