Japanese organized crime – history, activities, future development

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na historii, činnost a hierarchii organizovaného zločinu působícího převážně na území dnešního Japonska. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny vybrané definice organizovaného zločinu a jeho definičních atributů. Praktická část práce je pak dále rozdělena do dalších dvou částí. V části první je popsána stručná historie působení organizovaných zločineckých skupin na území Japonska, jejich hierarchie, metody náboru členů, ideologie a předměty činnosti. Rovněž jsou zde uvedeny vybrané definiční aspekty organizovaného zločinu, které jsou následně demonstrovány na konkrétních příkladech. V druhé části je pak popsán současný stav organizovaného zločinu v Japonsku, trendy v oblasti členské základny, předmětů podnikání a možného budoucího vývoje.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on history, activities and hierarchy of organized crime active mostly on the territory of today’s Japan. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part contains selected definitions of the term “organized crime” and its attributes. The practical part is then divided into two additional parts. The first part contains brief history of organized crime groups activities on the territory of Japan, their hierarchy, recruitment methods, ideology and lines of business. This part also contains selected aspects of organized crime, which are then demonstrated on specific examples. The second part consists of description of current state of the Japanese organized crime, trends in membership, business activities and possible future developments.
