Abstrakt Tématem diplomové práce je role prarodičů v rodině a její změna během poslední generace. Teoretická část se zaměřuje postupně na rodinu, její charakteristiky, změny, kterými prošla a prochází, na vývoj jedince a jeho vliv na vztahy vnoučat a prarodičů.
