Magisterská práce se zabývá tématem smrti a českým symbolismem. Z historického hlediska seznamuje s přístupem k smrti v různých obdobích. Déle stručně mapuje 19. století a proměny ve výtvarném umění doby. Zaměřuje se na symbolisticko- dekadentní tvorbu, kde autoři využívali motiv smrti a objasňuje důvody výběru tohoto depresivního motivu. Abstract:
Master thesis deals with death and the Czech symbolism. Historically, introduces the approach to death at different times. More briefly charts the 19th century and changes in the visual arts time. It focuses on the symbolic and decadent creation, where the authors used the motif of death and explains the reasons for the choice of depressive theme.
