The Effect of Material Composition and Shape on Mechanical Behavior of Sandwich Construction

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem materiálového složení a tvaru sendvičové kon-strukce, kdy na základě právě tvaru ve formě zakřivení jsou posuzovány její vlastnosti a chování pří mechanických zátěžových testech. Teoretická část zahrnuje popis používaných materiálů, věnuje se technické teorii ohybu, představuje technologii výroby a způsobů testování těchto sendvičových struktur. Praktická část práce popisuje použité materiály a zařízení, dále pak ukazuje podrobný postup výroby zakřivených panelů, následně je porovnává na základě změny mechanických vlastností v ohybu. Další testy se zabývaly rázovou zkouškou a zkouškou tahem naplocho.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with design of material composition and shape of sandwich structure, where based on their shape in form of curvature are evaluated their properties during mechanical tests. The theoretical part includes description of used materials, describes technical theory of bending and introduces the technologies of production and testing methods of these structures. The practical part describes used materials and devices, further detailed production process of curved panels is showed, where subsequently due to the mechanical properties change are these panels compared. Appropriateness, whether designed structure of curved sandwich was convenient was assessed by the bending test.Other tests dealt with resistance of the materials against penetration by impact test. In the other worlds, system of failing weight. Moreover, flatwise tensile test was conducted, where a tensile strength of layered structure was observed.
