Strategic analysis of Palírna u Zeleného Stromu

Abstract:

Cílem dané práce je poskytnutí strategických doporučení pro společnost Palírna u zeleného stromu na základě identifikování příležitosti, ohrožení, silných a slabých stránek. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou části. Jako nástroj k dosažení cílů práce byla použita strategická analýza, jejíž součásti je externí a interní analýza. Součásti externí analýzy je PESTEL analýza, spočítání indexu CR4, mapa konkurenčních skupin, porterův model 5 sil, analýza zájmových skupin a zjištění fázi životního cyklu odvětví. Interní analýza byla provedena pomoci VRIN analýzy, finanční analýzy, hodnototvorného řetězce a analýzy portfolia. V rámci finanční analýzy byli spočítány a porovnány s konkurenty ukazatele rentability, aktivity, likvidity a zadluženosti společnosti. Analýza portfolia byla provedena pomoci vypracování matice GE-McKinsey. Nakonec, syntéza je provedena pomoci SWOT analýzy a analýzy rizika. V závěru byli uvedeny strategická doporučení pro společnost Palírna u Zeleného Stromu, a.s.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to elaborate strategic recommendations for the company Palírna u zeleného stromu based on the identification of opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Strategic analysis was used as a tool to achieve the goal of the work, it includes external and internal analysis. The parts of the external analysis are PESTEL analysis, calculation of the CR4 index, strategic group map, Porter's model of 5 forces, stakeholder analysis and finding out the phases of the life cycle of the industry. Internal analysis was split into VRIN analysis, financial analysis, value chain and portfolio analysis. As part of the financial analysis, indicators of profitability, activity, liquidity and indebtedness of the company were calculated and compared with the competitors'. Portfolio analysis was performed using a GE-McKinsey matrix. Finally, the synthesis is performed using SWOT analysis and risk analysis. The conclusion includes strategic recommendations for the company Palírna u Zeleného Stromu, a.s.
