This work deals with the subject of cognitive linguistics and of conceptual metaphors used in two pieces of epic fantasy literature, A Wizard of Earthsea written by Ursula K. Le Guin and The Last Guardian written by Jeff Grubb. Tento text se zabývá analýzou konceptuálních metafor užitých ve dvou literárních dílech epické fantasy, Čaroděj ze Zeměmoří od Ursuly K. Le Guin a Posledního strážce od Jeffa Grubba. Analýza samotná se zaměřuje na kvantitativní přehled domén metafor přítomných v analyzovaných textech. Metafory jsou dále rozděleny do kategorií a dále zkoumány.
