Anotácia:

Obsahom diplomovej práce je predstavenie nástroja na generovanie sekvencií pseudo náhodných čísiel s jednotným rozhraním s názvom CryptoStreams. CryptoStreams sa používa na generovanie výstupov oslabených kryptografických funkcií, ktoré sa testujú s rôznymi štatistickými batériami. Cieľom statistického testovania je určenie hraníc bezpečnosti pre každú krpyptografickú funkciu ako aj rozumných rozsahov interných iterácií kryptografických funkcií, ktoré môžu poskytnúť zaujímavé informácie z hľadiska kryptoanalýzy. Na štatistické testovanie je použitý nástoj s názvom Randomness Testing Toolkit (RTT), vyvíjaný na Masarykovej univerzite. Výsledky testov z RTT sú následne spracované pomocou automatického nástroja vyvinutého v rámci diplomovej práce, ktorý určí hranicu bezpečnosti a rozsah interných iterácií kryptografických funkcií. Na záver práce je presentovaná vhodná vizualizácia výsledkov vo forme webovej stránky.

Abstract:

This thesis introduces a tool for generating pseudo-random number sequences with a unified interface called CryptoStreams. CryptoStreams was used to generate outputs of weakened cryptographic primitives in order to test them with various statistical batteries. The aim of statistical testing was to determine the security margin and a reasonable range of rounds for each cryptographic primitive that can give interesting information from the aspect of cryptoanalysis. On statistical testing a unified interface was used called Randomness Testing Toolkit (RTT) developed at Masaryk University. The test results of RTT were post-processed by an automatic tool implemented within the thesis that determines the security margin and the recommended range of rounds for each cryptographic primitive. Lastly, an appropriate visualisation of test results is introduced in the form of a web page.
