Activation of Older Adults in Domov Příbor, p. o.

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je aktivizace seniorů, konkrétně pak motivace klientů Domov Příbor p. o. k participaci na aktivizačních programech. Typ práce je teoreticko-aplikační. Cílem teoretické části je vymezit základní teoretické pojmy sociální práce se seniory a jejich aktivizace. Teoretická část se skládá ze tří kapitol, které popisují stáří a jeho periodizaci, změny ve stáří, stárnutí a pojem aktivní stárnutí. Dále se zabývá aktivizací seniorů, jejich motivací k participaci na aktivizačních programech a uvádí některé faktory ovlivňující zapojení do aktivizačních činností. Poslední kapitola teoretické části popisuje sociální služby se zaměřením na služby pobytové. Cílem aplikační části je navrhnout kvantitativní výzkum, ověřit a reflektovat nástroj sběru dat. Navržený kvantitativní výzkum by měl za úkol zjistit, jaké faktory mají vliv na motivaci klientů Domova Příbor, p. o. k participaci na aktivizačních programech.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is activation of older adults, specifically motivation of clients of Domov Příbor p. o. to participate in activation programs. The type of this work is theoretical-applied. The aim of the theoretical part is to define essential theoretical concepts of social work with older adults and their activation. The theoretical part consists of three chapters that describe old age and its periodization, changes in old age, aging, and the concept of active aging. It also deals with the activation of older adults, their motivation to participate in activation programs and identifies some factors influencing involvement in activation activities. Last chapter of the theoretical part describes social services focusing on residential social services. The aim of the application part is to propose a quantitative research, verify and reflect the data collection tool. The proposed quantitative research would aim to identify which factors influence the motivation of clients of Domov Příbor p. o. to participate in activation programs.
