Se stoupajícím významem Evropského parlamentu jako instituce je třeba se ptát, zda se vyvíjí nadnárodní stranický systém. Individuální europoslanci jsou funkční jednotkou tohoto sytému, a proto si práce klade za cíl popsat míru socializace s jejich příslušnou politickou skupinou v EP. With the rising importance of the European Parliament as an institution, it is necessary to ask whether the supranational party system is developing.
