Analysis of Trace Elements in Vegetation of Black Reclaimed Landfill

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá analýzou stopových prvků v odebraných vzorcích porostu ?rekultivované? černé skládky Štákovy paseky, Zlín. Teoretická část je zaměřena na pro-blematiku skládkování, pojem černá skládka a její vliv na okolní ekosystém. Praktická část se soustředí na stanovení obsahu prvků ve vzorcích rostlinného pokryvu odebraných na studované a kontrolní lokalitě. Pomocí analýzy XRF byl stanoven kvalitativní obsah sto-pových prvků (Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd, Sn, Sr, P, S, K, Ca), z nichž byly identifikovány majo-ritní prvky (Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd), které byly následně stanoveny kvantitativně v extraktu ze vzorků vysušené biomasy metodou AAS. Rtuť ve vzorcích byla zjištěna přímou analýzou biomasy pomocí analyzátoru rtuti AMA 254. Po srovnání výsledků získaných z kontaminované lokality s hodnotami z kontrolní oblasti může být konstatováno, že obsah rtuti je v mezích stanovení a koncentrace zinku poukazují spíše na jeho nedostatek. Vý-sledky poukazují pouze na zvýšený obsah Mn ve vzorcích rostlinného pokryvu. Tato stará ekologická zátěž tak nepředstavuje z tohoto pohledu významné riziko pro okolní ekosys-tém.

Abstract:

This paper deals with the analysis of trace elements in samples of vegetation ?rehabilitated? black landfill Štákovy paseky, Zlín. The theoretical part focuses on the problems associated with pro-tipping, the notion of black landfill and its impact on the surrounding ecosystem. The practical part focuses on identifying the elements in samples collected on vegetation cover of studied and controled area. XRF analysis determined preliminary qualitatively content of trace elements (Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd, Sn, Sr, P, S, K, Ca). From these elements were identifyed the majority elements (Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd) which were subsequently determined quantitatively in the extract of dried biomass samples by AAS. Mercury in the samples was detected by direct analysis of biomass using a mercury analyzer AMA 254. After comparing the results obtained from contaminated sites with values in the control area can be found that concentration of Hg is in range of determinativ and contcentration of Zn points out lack. The results show only an increased concentration of Mn in samples of plant cover. The old environmental burdens and not from the perspective of a significant risk to the surrounding ecosystem.
