Education of People with Parkinson's Disease

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá Parkinsonovou chorobou, jejím vznikem, diagnostikou, průběhem a léčbou. Popisuje pojem edukace její význam pro osoby trpící Parkinsonem a stanovuje vhodné intervence a léčbu. Průzkumná část klade otázky osobě trpící touto chorobou ohledně jejích aktuálních symptomů a průběhu léčby. Zkoumá se zde informovanost pacienta o této nemoci a její terapii a zmírnění dopadů v běžném životě. Naším cílem je informovaný pacient a možné zlepšení kvality jeho života.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with Parkinsons disease, its origin, diagnosis, course and treatment. It describes the concept of education, its importance for people suffering from Parkinsons disease, and subsequently determines appropriate interventions and treatment. The exploratory part of the work asks the person suffering from this disease questions about their current symptoms and the course of treatment. In this section, the patients awareness of this disease and its therapy and mitigation of the effects in everyday life are examined. The goal is to achieve an informed patient and a possible improvement in the quality of his life.
