Russian and Czech Dance Terminology (the Comparative Approach)
Abstract:
In the present thesis we will focus on the history and development of dancing, individual dance figures and their names. We will mainly deal with standard and Latin-American dance styles and also with the translation of individual dance terms. Our aim is to familiarize potential readers with dance terminology in Czech and Russian environment and create a Russian-Czech and Czech-Russian glossary.
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se budeme zabývat historií a vývojem tance, tanečními figurami a jejich názvy. Velkou pozornost budeme věnovat především tancům standardním, latinskoamerickým, a také překladu jednotlivých tanečních termínů. Cílem bude seznámit čtenáře s taneční terminologií v českém a ruském prostředí a vytvořit rusko-český, česko-ruský terminologický glosář.
