Rok 1989 je v ČR spojen se začátkem nového politického režimu a nástupem nových ekonomických procesů. V souvislosti s těmito změnami došlo k přetváření hospodářské struktury a také diferenciaci do té doby rovnoměrného stavu zaměstnanosti ve venkovských oblastech.
