De Facto States in the 21st Century

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem De facto státy ve 21. století je zaměřena na vztahy vybraných de facto států (severní Kypr, Jižní Osetie, Luhansk) a jejich sponzorských států (Turecko, Rusko). Konkrétně je cílem práce objasnit podporu ze strany sponzorských států v následujících oblastech: role sponzorských států během historického procesu vzniku de facto států, role sponzorských států v politice a vnějších vztazích de facto států a role sponzorských států v ekonomice de facto států. V první části bakalářské práce jsou definovány hlavní koncepty jako státní suverenita, mezinárodní uznání státu, de facto stát a sponzorský stát. Kromě jednotlivých definic obsahuje první část práce kapitolu o turecké a ruské geopolitice. Druhá část je založena na analýze podpory de facto států ze strany sponzorských států v definovaných oblastech.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis named De Facto States in the 21th Century is focused on relations of selected de facto states (Northern Cyprus, South Ossetia, Luhansk) and their sponsor states (Turkey, Russia). Concretely, the aim of the thesis is to clarify sponsor states support in following areas: the role of sponsor states during historical process of de facto states establishing, the role of sponsor states in politics and foreign relations of de facto states and the role of sponsor states in economy of de facto states. In first part of the bachelor thesis major concepts like a state sovereignty, state international recognition, de facto state and sponsor state are defined. Besides these definitions there is a chapter about Turkish and Russian geopolitics in the first part. Second part is based on analysis of support of de facto state by their sponsor states in defined areas.
