Baroque churches on the Loučeň-Dobrovice estate and their architectural and historical development

Abstract:

Tato práce se snaží rozšířit dle názoru autora nedostatečné poznání nejen stavebního vývoje kostela Nanebevzetí Panny Marie na Loučeni. Jejím cílem je také určit architekty, jež se na jeho výstavbě v první čtvrtině 18. století podíleli. První část práce se zaměřuje na stavební činnost rodiny Valdštejnů a architekty, kteří v jejích službách působili, dále na porovnání vybraných sakrálních staveb těchto architektů a výsledné vyhodnocení autorství loučeňského kostela. Druhou částí je stavebněhistorický průzkum, vedený dle příslušné metodiky, obsahující popis objektu, jeho stavební vývoj, hodnocení a také bohatou obrazovou přílohu.

Abstract:

This thesis seeks to expand, in the author's opinion, the insufficient knowledge not only of the constructional development of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at Lautschin. It also aims to identify the architects who participated in its construction in the first quarter of the 18th century. The first part of the thesis focuses on the building activities of the Wallenstein family and the architects who worked in its service, as well as on the comparison of selected sacral buildings by these architects and the resulting evaluation of the authorship of the Lautschin church. The second part is a architectural and historical research, conducted according to the relevant methodology, containing a description of the building, its construction development, evaluation and a rich pictorial appendix.
