Abstract:

Stejně jako je lidské oko zvané branou do duše člověka, je pro mne okno též jakousi pomyslnou branou do duše budovy. Má duše prochází hlubokým emocionálním kolapsem ze soustavného týrání a postupné devastace. Utápím se v depresích, úzkostech a slastné světlo na konci tunelu zatím v nedohlednu. V zubožených ruinách vidím zhmotněné kopie své duše. Chvácena destrukcí chci zobrazit, jak se na letmý prvý pohled může zdát, že nanejvýš pečlivé a kultivované řemeslné provedení je na vymření, jak z dokonalého, propracovaného tvarosloví působením vlivů vnějších vznikne troska. Jak krásná, pečlivá a kultivovaná může být destrukce. Pojala jsem tuto práci jako možnost osobní terapie. Plně si uvědomuji, že každý z nás ve svém životě prochází jistým bojem a všichni máme bolesti, kterým čelíme. Má práce reaguje na přirozené stárnutí a rozpad, jímž si všichni procházíme. Začíná zrodem a blíží se konci. Ukazuje, že i ve tmě je stále vůle žít.

Abstract:

Just as the same as human eye is called the gateway to the soul of human, I think the window is a kind of imaginary gateway to the soul of the building. My soul is going through deep emotional collapse, caused by constant abuse and gradual devastation. I am still waiting for delightful light in the end of the tunnel, but it is still not coming. I see materialized copies of my soul in the impoverished ruins. I am overwhelmed by destructions, I want to show how, at first glance, the most meticulous and the most sophisticated craftsmanship may seem to be extinct, how from a perfect, elaborate morphology could the influence of the outside make a wreck. How beautiful, meticulous, and cultivated could be the destruction. I took this work as a possibility of personal therapy. I am fully aware that each of us is going through a struggle in our lives and we all have the pain we face. My work responds to the natural aging and decay that each of us are going through. It begins with birth and it is nearing to the end. It shows, that even in the dark there is still the will to want to live.
