Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the problematics of recruiting and selecting employees for the company Freshlabels, s.r.o.The first part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the literature on the issue and description of basic concepts associated with human resource management, ways to acquire employees, and, last but not least, the methods by which the candidates are assessed.The second part first introduces the company Freshlabels, s.r.o., its subject of business together with the services it provides and then describes the employee structure in detail. Furthermore the process of recruitment and selection of employees in the company Freshlabels, s.r.o. is described. In the first part of the research, based on a questionnaire sent among former and current employees and candidates who were applying for a job in this company, steps are recommended that could, from the author's point of view, lead to making this process more efficient. In the second phase of the research, after an interview with the HR manager of Freshlabels, s.r.o., shortcomings of the whole process were identified, which should be eliminated after the author's recommendations.
