Project of Optimization of a Selected Logistics Process with Emphasis on its Security

Abstract:

Diplomová práce byla zpracována na téma "Projekt optimalizace vybraného logistického procesu s důrazem na jeho bezpečnost". Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, první část je teoretická a druhá část praktická. V první části je představen cíl projektu a veškeré metody, které byly použity a to VSM, ABCXYZ analýza, RIPRAN a Ishikawa diagram. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty teoretické poznatky od autorů, které se zabývají tématem logistika, nákup, zásoby a bezpečnost práce. V praktické části je představena společnosti Hartmann-Rico a následně je vypracován projekt optimalizace vybraného logistického procesu ve skladu s důrazem na bezpečnost. Pomocí metody VSM byly zmapovány informační i materiálové toky ve skladu a byly nalezeny a identifikovány úzká místa ve vybraných procesech firmy, které je potřeba eliminovat nebo odstranit. Bylo zjištěno plýtvání času hlavně v procesech manipulace a etiketování ve skladu, které se podařilo z 50 % odstranit a na zbylých optimalizací se kontinuálně pracuje.

Abstract:

The thesis was prepared on the topic "Project of optimization of selected logistics process with emphasis on its safety. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second part is practical. The first part presents the project objective and all the methods that were used namely VSM, ABCXYZ analysis, RIPRAN and Ishikawa diagram. The theoretical part summarizes the theoretical findings from authors that deal with the topic of logistics, purchasing, inventory and occupational safety. In the practical part, Hartmann-Rico is introduced and then a project is developed to optimize a selected logistics process in a warehouse with emphasis on safety. Using the VSM method, the information and material flows in the warehouse were mapped and bottlenecks in the selected processes of the company that need to be eliminated or removed were found and identified. Time wastage was identified mainly in the warehouse handling and labelling processes, which was 50% eliminated and the remaining optimisation is being continuously worked on.
