Proč firmy přestávají přijímat kryptoměny

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je odhalit důvody proč firmy přestávají přijímat kryptoměny. První kapitola práce představuje historii přijímání kryptoměn a technologie stojící za kryptoměnami v podnicích. Ve druhé kapitole jsou diskutovány výhody a nevýhody kryptoměn jakožto způsobu platby. Ve třetí kapitole jsou informace o relevantních firmách, shromážděné z externích zdrojů a autorova vlastního dotazníkového šetření, analyzovány na základě teoretické báze z první a druhé kapitoly. Výsledky naznačují že významnost příjmů obdržených z kryptoměnových plateb může působit jako určitý předpoklad: Pokud jsou příjmy významné, žádné rozhodnutí, zda přestat přijímat kryptoměny, neproběhne; Pokud příjmy nejsou významné, rozhodnutí proběhne na základě ostatních faktorů jako jsou např. vysoké transakční poplatky a proměnlivost cen.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to identify reasons why firms stop accepting cryptocurrencies. In the first chapter, the thesis introduces the history of the accepting of cryptocurrencies and the technology behind cryptocurrencies in business. In the second chapter, their advantages and disadvantages as a method of payment are discussed. In the third chapter, information about relevant firms gathered from external sources and the author's questionnaire research is analysed, drawing on the theoretical basis of the first two chapters. The results suggest that the significance of the revenue received from cryptocurrency payments can act as a sort of prerequisite: If the revenue is significant, no decision to stop accepting cryptocurrencies occurs; if the revenue is insignificant, the decision occurs based on other factors such as high transaction fees and price volatility.
