Characterization of the permo – carboniferous forests and possible comparison with recent coniferous forest in Central Europe

Charakteristika permo - karbonských lesů a možné porovnání s recentním jehličnatým lesem ve Střední Evropě
Abstract:
Tato práce je primárně zaměřena na srovnání dávných koniferózních lesních ekosystémů a rašelinišť s recentními na území Střední Evropy. Objevené fosilní pozůstatky poskytují detailní náhled do fungování a intrakcí jednotlivých komponentů ekosystémů v Karbonu a Spodním Permu. Dalším aspektem jsou možné dopady aktivit patogenů na tehdejší vegetaci v korelaci s dnešní.
Abstract:
This thesis is primaly focus on solving of comparison of ancient with recent coniferous forests and peat bogs in Central Europe. Discovered fossil records provide the detailed insight view to functions and interactions among individual components of former vegetation in the Carboniferous and the Early Permian compared to recent period.
