Engaging First Responders in Care of Patients with Out-of-Hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zapojení first responderů do péče o pacienty s mimonemocniční náhlou zástavou oběhu. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V úvodu teoretické části je popsán projekt First responder jak ve světě, tak v České republice, přihlášení a výběr first respondera, popis aplikace O2 SOS, aktivace pomocí aplikace. Další část je zaměřena na náhlou zástavu oběhu, bezvědomí, masivní krvácení. Dále je popsána resuscitace, defibrilace a automatizovaný externí defibrilátor. Praktická část je založena na rozhovorech first responderů, kteří mají osobní zkušenost a aktivací přes aplikaci a provádění resuscitace. Zhodnocení poznatků od jednotlivých first responderů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is aimed on involvement of first responders in care of patients with a non-hospital sudden cardiac arrest. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the introductory theoretical part is described a project First responder both in the world and in the Czech Republic, a login and a selection of first responder, an application description O2 SOS, an activation of application. The next part is aimed on a sudden cardiac arrest, unconsciousness, a massive bleeding. Afterwards, there is described resuscitation, defibrillation, an automated external defibrillator. The practical part is based on interviews with first responders, who have personal experience with an activation via application and with performing resuscitation. In conclusion, an evaluation of findings from each first responder
