The role of hip in the development of patellofemoral pain syndrome
Abstract:
Patellofemoral syndrome (PFPS) is a common condition characterized by pain and dysfunction around the patella. Its etiology is complex and multifactorial, involving various factors. Traditionally, physiotherapy treatment has focused on rebalancing between the vastus medialis and vastus lateralis muscles of the quadriceps femoris to avoid excessive stress on the joint during knee extension.

La sindrome femoro-rotulea (PFPS) ? una condizione comune caratterizzata da dolore e disfunzione intorno alla rotula. La sua eziologia ? complessa e multifattoriale, coinvolgendo vari fattori.
