Interference of Czech speakers while learning Russian as a foreign language (A2 level according to CEFR, grammar focused)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vybranými gramatickými jevy na úrovni A2, u nichž je možné očekávat interferenci v rámci dvou blízce příbuzných jazyků – češtiny (mateřský jazyk, L1) a ruštiny (cílový jazyk, L2). Na základě vybraných dokumentů (SERR, Standard z ruštiny pro cizince) bude stanoveno, jak je úroveň A2 vymezena pro rovinu gramatickou. Následně budou vybrány tři konkrétní příklady gramatických jevů, u nichž na základě tvrzení vybraných lingvistů nejčastěji dochází k interferenci. Tyto údaje budou následně porovnány s gramatickými jevy, které se vyskytují v učebnicích ruštiny pro Čechy (úroveň A2). Pro tento účel bude provedena analýza vybraných učebnic a pracovních sešitů ruštiny pro Čechy (úroveň A2). Na závěr bude provedeno doplňující dotazníkové šetření, ověřující, zda vlivem češtiny (mateřského jazyka, L1) u vybraných gramatických jevů v ruštině (cílový jazyk, L2) k interferenci dochází.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis deals with selected grammatical expressions at the A2 Waystage level, for which it is possible to expect the interference within two closely related languages – Czech language (mother tongue, L1) and Russian language (target language, L2). Based on the selected documents (CEFR, Standard of Russian language for foreigners), it will be determined how the A2 Waystage level is defined for the grammatical layer. After that, three specific examples of grammatical expressions will be chosen, in which the interference occurs most often, based on the statements of selected linguists. These data will then be compared with grammatical expressions which are found in Russian textbooks for Czechs (A2 Waystage level). For this purpose, an analysis of selected textbooks and workbooks of Russian language for Czechs will be created (A2 Waystage level). At the end, a supplementary questionnaire survey will be carried out, which will verify whether we can observe the interference due to the influence of Czech language (mother tongue, L1) in selected grammatical expressions in Russian language (target language, L2).
