Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zpracováním pozičních GPS záznamů jelena siky, které byly získané během nočního terénního sčítání v období ledna až března v roce 2020. Sčítání probíhalo v 6 honitbách na území Plaské pahorkatiny v Plzeňském kraji. Rešeršní část je zaměřena na introdukovaného jelena siku, který pochází z území jihovýchodní Asie. Početnost jelena siky a srnce obecného byla stanovena na základě přímé a nepřímé metody pozorování. Na základě zjištěných dat ze sčítání byla provedena vektorizace a klasifikace půdních typů pro jednotlivé honitby a následně zjištěna habitatová preference pro jelena siku. Největší početnost jelena siky byla zaznamenána v honitbě Luhov (průměrně 65,35 ks/100 ha). Nejvíce preferovanou plodinou ze všech sledovaných honiteb byla řepka, na které se průměrně nacházelo 166,8 ks/100 ha. Jedním z nejzávažnějších problémů spojených s introdukcí jelena siky, je jeho křížení s jelenem evropským, hybridi těchto dvou druhů, kteří vytlačují na našem území původního jelena evropského. Dalším závažným problémem spojeným s výskytem jelena siky je velké množství škod na lesních porostech (okus, loupání, ohryz a vytloukání). V budoucnu to může znamenat úplné jeho vymizení a nahrazení zcela novým druhem tvořeným z hybridů jelena siky a jelena evropského.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the processing of positional GPS records of sika deer that were obtained during the overnight field census between January and March in 2020. The census was carried out in 6 hunting grounds in Plaská Pahorkatina area of The Plzen Region. The search section is focused on the introducted Sika deer, which originates in southeast Asia. The numbers of sika deer and common deer were determined using a direct and indirect methods of observation. Based on census data, vectorization and classification of soil types for individual hunts were performed and a habitat preference for siku deer was subsequently found. The largest number of Sika deer was recorded in the Luhov hunt (average 65.35 pcs/100 ha). The most preferred crop of all the pursued hunts was rapeseed, which averaged 166.8 pcs/100 ha. One of the most serious problems associated with the introduction of sika deer is it´s interbreeding with European deer, hybrids of these two species that displace the native European deer in our territory. Another major problem associated with the presence of sika deer is a large amount of damage caused to woodland (taste, peeling, bite and pounding). In the future, this may mean its complete disappearance and replacement with an entirely new species made up of hybrids of Sika deer and European deer.
