Negotiation techiques in banking

Abstract:

ZICH, Viliam: Negotiation techniques in banking. [Bachelor work]. Banking Institute College of banking in Prague, a foreign university in Banska Bystrica. Department of Banking and Insurance. Bachelor work supervisor: Doc. Ing. Peter Gallo, PhD. Year of defense: 2012. Number of pages: 57. This bachelor work is dealing with negotiation techniques in banking. The first chapter deals with the theory of negotiation, which is divided into three subsections: the process and rules for trade negotiations (within this subchapter the process of trade negotiations, the structure of business meetings, formal rules of social intercourse are discussed), trading techniques and strategies of negotiations (in this subsection strategies of business negotiations, business success factors in negotiation, conflict resolution, skills and abilities necessary for negotiator, coercive tactics of a business partner, the golden rules of trade negotiations, the principles of the transformation of the product into an idea in the process of selling and analysis of own performance during the career are discussed) and communication and observation skills of negotiator in the negotiation process(in this subsection communication techniques for negotiation, ethics in the process of negotiation, body language and rhetoric and rules of use of language are discussed). The second chapter analyzes the implementation and use of negotiation techniques in banking practice. The analysis was conducted based on the query using a questionnaire with open and closed questions. The third chapter of the analyzed information provides suggestions for assignments and improvement of the use of negotiation techniques in practice.

Vedúci práce: Doc. Ing. Peter Gallo, CSc. Rok obhajoby: 2012. Počet strán: 57. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá technikami vyjednávania v bankovníctve. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na teóriu vyjednávania, ktorá sa člení na tri podkapitoly: proces a pravidlá obchodného jednania (v rámci tejto podkapitoly je rozoberaný proces obchodného jednania, štruktúra obchodného jednania, pravidlá formálnej stránky spoločenského styku), techniky a stratégie obchodného vyjednávania (v tejto podkapitole sú rozoberané stratégie obchodného vyjednávania, faktory úspechu obchodného jednania, riešenie konfliktov, nevyhnutné schopnosti a zručnosti vyjednávača, nátlakové taktiky obchodného partnera, zlaté pravidlá obchodného vyjednávania, princípy transformácie produktu na ideu v procese predaja a analýzy vlastnej výkonnosti počas kariéry) a komunikačné a pozorovacie schopnosti vyjednávača pri vyjednávaní (v tejto podkapitole sú rozoberané komunikačné techniky pri vyjednávaní, etika v procese vyjednávania, reč tela pri vyjednávaní a rétorika a pravidlá reči). Druhá kapitola analyzuje implementáciu a používanie jednotlivých techník vyjednávania v bankovníctve v praxi. Analýza prebehla na základe dopytovania pomocou dotazníka s otvorenými a uzatvorenými otázkami. Tretia kapitola na základe analyzovaných skutočností prináša návrhy pre postupy a zlepšenie využívania jednotlivých vyjednávacích techník v praxi.
