Financial Resources for NGOs in the Microregion of Frydlanstko-Beskydy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce, jak již z názvu vyplývá, je zaměřena na finanční zdroje neziskových organizací v mikroregionu Frýdlantsko-Beskydy. V teoretické části práce je pomocí fundraisingové teorie, která skýtá fundraisingová pravidla, strategie, charakterizuje fundraisingový plán, metody jakými získáváme patřičná data do fundraisingového plánu, nástroje prezentace organizace, charakteristiky osoby fundraisera, diversifikaci donátorů, fundraisingových technik na místní úrovní a grantových žádostí a projektů, nastíněn optimální stav fundraisingové práce v organizacích. Fundraisingová práce, jak je charakterizována v teoretické části, je stěžejní pro část praktickou, v níž je popsán již konkrétní výzkum organizací působících v mikroregionu Frýdlantsko-Beskydy. Výzkum realizovaný pomocí dotazníkového šetření je zaměřený na šest tématických okruhů, týkajících se sféry působení organizací, analýzy vnitřních zdrojů, pravidelné podpory ze strany dárců, grantových výzev a jejich využívání, finančního plánování, s čímž souvisí rozpočty organizací a metody používané k získávání finančních prostředků pro chod organizací a analýzy vnějších zdrojů. Detailně rozpracovány výsledky každého okruhu zkoumání jsou konfrontovány s fundraisingovou teorií. Na pozitivní výsledky je v shrnutí výzkumu poukázáno. Negativní výsledky, kterých je více, jsou v práci podrobněji rozpracovány. Ve fundraisingové teorii se na vyzkoumané negativní prvky snažím nalézt doporučení, jež by vedla k jejich eliminaci, případně vyřešení. Jednotlivá doporučení a řešení problému jsou uvedena jednak v shrnutí výzkumu.

Abstract:

As its title suggests, this bachelor?s thesis deals with financial resources of non-profit organizations in the Frýdlantsko-Beskydy micro-region. The theoretical part outlines the grounds of optimal fundraising in organizations, namely fundraising rules and strategies, a characteristics of the fundraising plan, of the fund raiser?s person and of the methods employed in obtaining corresponding data for the fundraising plan, presentation and organization tools, the diversification of donators, local level fundraising techniques and grant applications and projects. The characteristics of fundraising in the theoretical part functions as the ground for the practical part, where a particular research of organizations operating in Frýdlantsko-Beskydy is described. The questionnaire-based research is aimed at six thematic spheres: organizations? field of operation, the analysis of internal resources, regular support from donators, grant applications and grant funds utilization, financial planning and the linked organization budgets and the methods used for raising funds for organizations? operation and the analysis of external resources. Detailed results of each sphere looked into are confronted with the fundraising theory. Positive results are pointed out in the summary. The predominating negative ones are examined in closer detail. In the theory, I strive to find recommendations leading to their solving or elimination. The individual recommendations are mentioned both in the research summary, which also includes the list of potential financial resources, and in the summary itself.
