Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá strukturou a elastickými vlastnostmi alfa-chitinu. Kombinací výpočetních metod (metoda funkcionálu hustoty, self-consistent DFT-based tight-binding (SCC-DFTB) a molekulové dynamiky) je popsán základní stav krystalu alfa-chitinu a vodíkové vazby v něm. Abstract:
This work is a theoretical study on structural and mechanical properties of crystalline α-chitin. Based on combining density-functional theory (DFT), self-consistent DFT-based tight-binding (SCC-DFTB), and empirical forcefield molecular dynamics (MD) simulations the equilibrium structure plus the network of hydrogen bonds of an α-chitin crystal is determined.
