Bachelor`s thesis deals with the historical development of glass lenses edging. First chapter deals with focuses on history of glasses. Next chapter explains the concept of peripheral shaped edging, and contains description and usage of different types of bevels. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá historickým vývojom zábrusu okuliarových šošoviek. Úvodná kapitola sa venuje histórii okuliarov. Nasleduje kapitola, ktorá vysvetľuje pojem obvodový tvarový zábrus, a obsahuje popis a využitie jednotlivých druhov obvodových faziet.
