Abstract:
Modest Musorgsky composed Pictures at an Exhibition in 1874. It was the raction to the death of his close friend Viktor Hartmann (after his death there was an exhibition on the honour of himself), Musorgsky created musical pieces "pictures" and Promenades, which are connecting pieces. Modest Musorgsky skomponoval Obrázky z výstavy v roku 1874. Bola to reakcia na smrť svojho priateľa Viktora Hartmanna, po ktorého smrti bola usporiadaná výstava s jeho dielami. Musorgsky vytvoril skladby "obrázky" a Promenády, ktoré symbolizujú prechádzanie sa na výstave od obrazu k obrazu (čiže prechod od jednotlivých častí skladby).
