Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem ženských postav v románu spisovatele Michela Houellebecqa. Na předkládaný ženský obraz bude nahlíženo prismatem feministické literární teorie a genderové problematiky. Praktická analýza ženských postav se zaměřuje na konstrukci feminity, sleduje přítomnost stereotypů a rolí z hlediska genderu v souvislosti s mužským vypravěčem, který přímo obraz ženy vytváří.
