The Construction and Architecture of Lučina Village

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá typovou výstavbou, architekturou a okolnostmi vzniku obce Lučina, která vznikla jako ubytovna pro dělníky pracující na výstavbě přehrady a také jako náhradní ubytování pro lidi z obcí zatopených Žermanickou přehradou. Investorem stavby přehrady a také obce Lučina byl Ingstav Brno a stavitelem Stavoprojekt Brno. V obci se rovněž nachází drobné ohlasy socialistického realismu, jako například sgrafito, vytvořené umělci žijícími na Ostravsku.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the standardized housing construction, architecture and with the circumstances of Lučina village's origins, which originated as a dormitory for the workers working on the construction of the dam and also as a substitute accommodation for the people from villages flooded by the Žermanice dam. Ingstav Brno was the investor of the construction of the dam as well as of the Lučina village, the constructor was Stavoprojekt Brno. There are also minor responses to socialist realism, such as sgraffito, created by artists living in the Ostrava region.
