Geodemographic characteristics of Nový Jičín

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá geodemografickým vývojem okresu Nový Jičín a jeho SO ORP (Nový Jičín, Kopřivnice, Frenštát p. Radhoštěm, Bílovec a Odry). Cílem této práce je zhodnotit a porovnat demografický a geodemografický vývoj obyvatelstva okresu Nový Jičín a posoudit další rozvoj tohoto území. Na základě charakteristiky obyvatelstva můžeme zjistit, jak se region bude vyvíjet a obyvatelstvo stárnout a jak se bude lišit přirozený přírůstek od celkového. Data spojené s tímto vývojem jsou analyzována a popsána za čtyři sledovaná období (1991, 2001, 2011 a 2017), která jsou převzata z Českého statistického úřadu. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny důležité pojmy, se kterýma je následně pracováno v části praktické. V praktické části dochází k porovnání demografických a geodemografických změn obyvatelstva v okrese Nový Jičín a jejich srovnání s ostatními územními celky Moravskoslezského kraje.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines geodemographic development of Nový Jičín district and its SO ORP (Nový Jičín, Kopřivnice, Frenštát p. Radhoštěm, Bílovec, and Odry). The aim of this thesis is to evaluate and compare the demographic and geodemographic development of the population of the Nový Jičín district with regard to the further development of this area. Based on the characteristics of the population, we can find out how the region will evolve, how the population will age, and how the natural population increase will differ from the total population increase. The data associated with this development are analyzed and described over four reference periods (1991, 2001, 2011, and 2017) taken from the Czech Statistical Office. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains important concepts with which it is subsequently worked in the practical part. In the practical part there are comparisons of demographic and geodemographic changes of the population in the Nový Jičín district and their comparison with other territorial units of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
