Odor and Social Interactions between Dog and Man.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá sociálními a pachovými interakcemi mezi člověkem a psem. V úvodu jsou uvedeny dosud získané poznatky o čichu psa a jeho sociálním chování vůči člověku. V další části je rozbor vlastního výzkumu, který sleduje vzájemnou interakci při setkání cizího psa s cizím člověkem v přítomnosti či nepřítomnosti majitele. Sledovaným faktorem je zde především očichávání člověka a značení po vzájemném setkání. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou diskutovány výsledky pozorování a doporučení, jak se zachovat při setkání s cizím psem v různých situacích.

Abstract:

This work deals with social and odor interactions between man and dog. In the introduction are presented so far acquired knowledge about the smell of a dog and his social behavior with people. In the next part is an analysis of own research, which follows interaction in meeting a dog with a stranger in the presence or absence of its owner. The observed factor here is the sniffing of a man and marking after a meeting. The conclusion of the thesis discusses the results of observations and recommendations on how to behave when meeting a dog in different situations.
