Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou genderových stereotypů v sociální práci. Její úvodní součástí je popsání důležitých pojmů souvisejících s genderovým tématem. První kapitola obsahuje charakteristiku pojmu gender a jeho historie v kontextu sociální práce. Část kapitoly je také věnována popisu pojmů spojených s genderovou identitou, jako jsou heterosexualita a homosexualita, transgender a intersexualita, z důvodu častého výskytu stereotypů u sociálních pracovníků a pracovnic v této oblasti. Ve druhé kapitole je věnován prostor pro popsání nejčastějších oblastí diskriminace a stereotypů mezi muži a ženami s návazností na intervenci v sociální práci. Jedná se o nerovnosti ve vzdělání, zaměstnání a v péči o rodinu. Součástí kapitoly je také výčet organizací, které se zabývají genderovou problematikou a popis doporučení pro genderově senzitivní sociální práci. Poslední část práce je věnována feministickým přístupům v sociální práci. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat výskyt genderových stereotypů v sociální práci a popsat feministické přístupy v sociální práci v kontextu genderové problematiky. Gender je stále poměrně mladé téma, které má v kontextu sociální práce velký význam.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of gender stereotypes in social work. Its introductory part is to describe important gender-related concepts. The first chapter contains the characteristics of gender and its history in the context of social work. Part of the chapter is also devoted to the description of terms associated with gender identity, such as heterosexuality and homosexuality, transgender and intersexuality, because of the frequent occurrence of stereotypes in social workers in this area. In the second chapter there is a space for describing the most frequent areas of discrimination and stereotypes between men and women connected with intervention in social work. These are inequalities in education, employment and family care. The chapter also includes a list of organizations dealing with gender issues and a recommendation for gender sensitive social work. The last part is devoted to feminist approaches in social work. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the occurrence of gender stereotypes in social work and describe feminist approaches in social work in the context of gender issues. Gender is still a relatively young topic of great importance in the context of social work.
