Evaluation of Extra-functional Properties on Components

Abstract:

Komponentové programování je založeno na rozdělení systému do menších funkčních celků, jež se nazývají komponenty. Ty se dají, přes jejich funkčnost, navzájem spojovat a tím vytvářet požadovaný systém. Ve spojení figuruje, kromě funkčnosti, informace o mimofunkčních charakteristikách přiřazených na daném spojení. Pro správné spojení je nutné kontrolovat kompatibilitu komponent a to jak přes jejich funkční, tak i přes mimofunkční požadavky. Zatímco mechanismus na kontrolu funkčních požadavků už je k dispozici, na kontrolu mimofunkčních charakteristik nástroj stále chybí, proto, pro možnost jejich snadného porovnávání, vznikl mechanismus, který je hlavním tématem této bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

Component programming is based on dividing the system into smaller function blocks, which are called components. They can be connected together through their functionality, so the requested system is made this way. In the connection, there is information about the functionality and non-functional characteristics of the connection. It is necessary to check the compatibility of functional and non-functional component requirements, to reach the correct connection. While the mechanism to check the function requirements is already implemented, the tool to check the non-function requirements is still missing. That is why a mechanism to compare them easily was created. This mechanism is the main topic of this bachelor thesis.
