Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se rozhodla pojednat o vztahu Ramóna Gómeze de la Serna, španělského literáta a význačné osobnosti avantgardního hnutí první poloviny dvacátého století, k výtvarnému umění. Ačkoli tento autor představoval jednu z centrálních postav madridského kulturního dění a svým vlivem zasáhl do celoevropského kontextu, nebyla mu v českém prostředí dosud věnována výraznější pozornost s výjimkou prací Josefa Forbelského a Marcely Vrzalové Hejskové, které však svým zaměřením spadají spíše do oblasti literární vědy. Chtěla bych proto představit Ramóna Gómeze de la Serna z jiného úhlu pohledu, a sice ukázat jej nejen jako významného spisovatele beletristických děl, ale také jako teoretika a kritika umění, autora řady biografií, organizátora první kubistické výstavy v Madridu a v neposlední řadě i originálního kreslíře. Základem mé práce se stalo studium Gómezových knih a dílčích textů, především jeho životopisů významných španělských malířů, dále antologie avantgardních hnutí Ismos a estetických názorů shrnutých v Una teoría personal del arte. Vzhledem k absenci česky psaných zdrojů, jsem informace čerpala hlavně z dobových zahraničních periodik a revue, jako Revista Occidente, La Gaceta Literaria či La Pluma, z odborných vědeckých studií pocházejících zvláště z pera současných autorů působících na amerických univerzitách jako Juli Highfill, Benjamin Fraser, Nicolás Fernández-Medina a dále z katalogů výstav, zvláště pak z Los dibujos de Ramón Gómez de la Serna en las colecciones artísticas de ABC. V první části své práce předkládám stručný životopis Ramóna Gómeze de la Serna a zdůrazňuji nejdůležitější rysy a okamžiky jeho tvorby, druhý oddíl pojednává o biografiích španělských malířů El Greca, Diega de Velázqueze, Francisca Goyi, José Gutiérreze Solany a Pabla Picassa, následují estetické teorie a názory sledovaného autora a rozbor jeho vlastní výtvarné činnosti. V rámci didaktické části jsem vytvořila projekt šesti lekcí inspirovaných tvorbou Ramóna Gómeze de la Serna, na základě kterých by se studenti měli seznámit s vývojem umění v první polovině dvacátého století.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the relationship of Ramón Gómez de la Serna, a Spanish author and important figure of the avant-garde movement of the first half of the 20th century, towards fine art. Despite the fact that this author was one of the central figures of the cultural life of the city of Madrid and he influenced the whole Europe, there are no works focused on him in the Czech environment, except the works of Josef Forbelský and Marcela Vrzalová Hejsková, which are better to be included in the literary science, though. Consequently, I would like to present Ramón Gómez de la Serna from a different point of view, to show him not only as an important author of fiction but as a theoretician, an art critic, author of many biographies, an organizer of the first cubist exhibition in Madrid, and, last but not least, an authentic draftsman, as well. The basis of this thesis are the studies of Gomez?s books and fundamental texts, his biographies of the important Spanish painters in particular, the anthologies of the avant-garde movements Ismos and the aesthetical thoughts summarized in Una teoría personal del arte. Owing to the lack of sources written in Czech, the information were taken from the contemporary foreign periodicals and reviews, for example Revista Occidente, La Gaceta Literaria or La Pluma, from the professional scientific studies, coming mainly from the present authors teaching on American universities like Juli Highfill, Benjamin Fraser, Nicolas Fernández-Medina, and from the exhibition indices, mainly from Los dibujos de Ramón Gómez de la Serna en las colecciones artísticas de ABC. The first part of the thesis brings a brief biography of Ramón Gómez de la Serna and the most important features and moments of his work are presented. The second part deals with the biographies of the Spanish painters El Greco, Diego de Valázquez, Francisco Goya, José Gutiérrez Solana and Pablo Picasso. The aesthetic theories and thoughts of the presented author follow, as well as the analysis of his own art. Within the didactic part, a project of six lessons was created, inspired by the work of Ramón Gómez de la Serna on the basis of which the students would get acquainted with the development of art in the first half of the 20th century.
