Contemporary Polish Flute Compositions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Současná polská flétnová tvorba“ pojednává o skladbách pro flétnu vybraných současných polských autorů, kterými jsou Justyna Kowalska-Lasoń, Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil, Adam Wesołowski a Aleksander Nowak. Přiblížen je jejich kompoziční styl a dále je provedena interpretační analýza skladby, která daný kompoziční styl charakterizuje. Kromě toho jsou vyzdvihnuty mimohudební motivy kompozice či její tektonická stránka. Dále je kladen důraz na moderní techniky hry na flétnu vyskytující se v konkrétních skladbách a je taktéž poukázáno na zajímavosti, úskalí či historii samotného vzniku díla. V přímé spojitosti s danou problematikou diplomová práce představuje projekt Flautoforte. Práce je zaměřena na díla, která v České republice doposud nebyla objevena. Jejím smyslem je obohatit repertoár českých flétnistů a tím tyto skladby dostat do povědomí široké veřejnosti.

Abstract:

Thesis “Contemporary Polisch Flute Compositions” deals with the flute compositions of selected contemporary Polish composers - Justyna Kowalska-Lasoń, Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil, Adam Wesołowski and Aleksander Nowak. Their compositional style is presented and an interpretative analysis of the compositions that characterize the given compositional style is made. In addition, the extra-musical motives of the composition or its tectonic aspect are highlighted. Furthermore, emphasis is placed on the modern flute playing techniques found in specific compositions, and the curiosities, pitfalls or history of the composition itself are also pointed out. In direct connection with the subject matter, the thesis presents the Flautoforte Project. The thesis focuses on works that have not yet been discovered in the Czech Republic. Its purpose is to enrich the repertoire of Czech flautists and thus bring these works to the attention of the general public.
