The Ruin of the Lichnice Castle (in Podhradí near Chrudim)

Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá zříceninou hradu Lichnice, která se nachází v Železných horách. Jejím cílem je přinést poznatky z oblasti dějin historiografického bádání, stavebního vývoje a interpretaci archeologických nálezů. Nabízí různé pohledy odborníků na nejasnosti v podobě stavebních prvků a původu hradu. Pro srovnání a doplnění jsou využity i popisy badatelů z 19. století. V závěru je shrnutí poznatků a jsou zde uvedené možnosti výzkumu do budoucna.

Abstract:

Thinking of the plan of this work I have devided it into several parts. The introduction is devoted to all the problems connected with historical researches, on the one hand we can follow technical and scientific literature (primary sources) as well as the results of enquiry in the 19th century on the other hand (secondary sources). The appendix gives the posibility of comparing all the photos from the 30s, 70s and 90s with the recent ones. We can ensure the researchers` descriptions as well as have a look at the area and grand plans of Lichnice Castle.
